Architect: Jan Störmer Partner GbR, Hamburg (DE)
900 m2 DinamiC•CCC 22 mm | Colour: Umbra | Surface: Gabro
Realized: 2007

DinamiC•CCC is one of the materials used to reshape the Hohe Bleichen into an attractive promenade which forms the entrance to the city centre of Hamburg. With sculptural forms which set back and jut out, the new building integrates comfortably into the environment. The complex facade is a composition of large elements in varying shades of Anthracite, which are typical for concrete surfaces. For this facade the special marbled surfacestructure "Gabro" was developed. The colour was also especially created with several pigments according to the specifications of the architect.

All 461 DinamiC•CCC elements of GRC in a thickness of 22 mm are produced as 3D-unique elements. The maximum sheet-dimension is 1,25/2,50 x 4,00 m. with concealed fixing to an aluminium subframe.
